Passing of Kim Orris
Kim Orris has battled like a champion for many years with many different types of cancer, but sadly on Tuesday February 14 with his family by his side, he passed away.
Kim’s son Ben played for our team for 5 seasons, and after a couple of years of being a fan and watching his son play, he became an owner of the team. He was a fiery competitor who hated to lose !
Although he was not able to be at the rink much over the past few years, he was passionately involved behind the scenes, and did so much for our program, with our players' best interest always being his first concern.
Our thoughts are with Ben and the rest of Kim’s family.
In honour of Kim's legacy, a patch with his initials will be worn on the game jerseys.
